According to Hindu scriptures, Yamraj ,the god of death ,lives in this temple .Where is that temple?
Why suddenly worship the Yamaraj? The Yamaraj, who lives in heaven, will suddenly live in this temple but why? Residents of the area believe that Yamaraj lives in this temple. He is accompanied by the accounting officer Chitragupta . Here he gives the last judgment.
Temple of Yamraj is located in Vermor area of Chamba district of Himachal Pradesh, about 500 kilometers away from Delhi. However this temple is known to people as Dharmeshwar Mahadev.
It is said that there are four invisible doors those are made of gold , silver , copper and iron all around this room of Yamraj. After listening to the trial of Yamraj, Yamaduta came. Then, according to his karma, one of these four doors is opened and the soul is dragged into heaven or hell. The temple is guarded by the two pet dogs of Yamraj. But this dog is not ordinary dog. They have 4 eyes to guard them properly.
It is said that there is a empty cave inside the temple. All the trials by Yamraj are held here .If someone enters the cave, he does not come back alive.
