Sanitary Napkin Or Pad Was First Used By Men

At the time of World War I soldiers of France were injured and the nurses were very embarrassed  due to non stop flow of blood .At that time Mr. Ben Franklin produced napkin which is disposable after use. The napkins were made with things that were available during the war and were cheap. The napkin's blood absorbing power was great. The injured soldiers benefited greatly from Franklin's discovery.

This napkin used for soldiers can also be used during menstruation, as firstly realized by American nurses working in France .Earlier, the practice of disposable napkin was not common among women. They usually used to wash the pieces of the same cloth repeatedly during the ritual time.

 As far as  realizing  the business aspect the business group of America soon started selling cotton made sanitary pads in the market.
